StairPong turns a physics demo into a betting game. A mechanical bucket releases 106 ping pong balls at the top of a ten-step staircase. They bounce, collide and scatter on the way down, and the first ball through the funnel at the bottom decides the round. You bet on its colour.
How StairPong works
- Choose a colour: White, Orange, Green, Blue or Pink.
- Place your bet before the round locks.
- Watch the drop. All the balls are released together and the run plays out on camera.
- Result. The colour of the first ball through the funnel wins.
The only market is the winner bet. There are no side bets.
What the paytable tells you
Every colour returns the same 89.62%, and an option’s RTP is its multiplier times its true chance of winning. That means you can work backwards from the multipliers to the odds of each colour, and the results line up neatly with the 106 balls:
| Colour | Pays | Chance of winning | Implied balls (of 106) |
|---|---|---|---|
| White | 1.9x | 47.2% | 50 |
| Orange | 2.38x | 37.7% | 40 |
| Green | 9.5x | 9.4% | 10 |
| Blue | 19x | 4.7% | 5 |
| Pink | 95x | 0.94% | 1 |
The ball counts are our own calculation from the published figures, not an official breakdown, but they fit too neatly to be a coincidence. Backing Pink means betting on the single pink ball beating the other 105.
The verdict on value
At 89.62%, StairPong’s base RTP is among the lowest in the 155.io catalogue, and Lightning Rounds only lift it to between 90.62% and 91.64%. It’s a fun watch, but an expensive one. If RTP matters to you, Survivor and Footfall both return more.
